Square Braided Plaits much more flexible than round braided plaits even for their particular double-eight-shaped plot. They do not get opened when cutting and after continuous bending they return to the original shape. They are especially used in the low and medium voltage circuit breakers.

Tubular Braids these are empty braids inside and if they do not sustain a flattening process, they are employed for covering and junction of cables and pipes in the energy compartment, with the possibility of inserting diameters from 1 mm to max. 30 mm.

Tubular Flattened Braids having a rectangular shape and normally a very reduced thickness. They are employed to link different masses or they are cut and fitted with tubes or cable lugs for obtaining shunts to be employed in the board, link, converter compartment, etc.

Compacted Shunts are realized by using round plaits or square braided plaits which are cut into lengths and electrically compacted at both sides: the compacting may be of square or rectangular shape. They are used in the lighting industry, in the electricity sector and in low voltage switchboards.

Ground (or Shunts) Straps may be made up of one or more lengths of flattened tubular braids having ends being fitted with tinned copper tubes, subsequently pressed and perforated, or cable lugs. For this product, our manufacturing process allows the realization by custom drawing and technical specification provided by the customer.

Aluminum Tubular Flattened Braids fitted for the same employ as the similar copper items, even if produced with an upper section to ensure equal performance. Mainly employed in the railway sector.
