Low coefficient of friction: Teflon has a very smooth surface and has a very low coefficient of friction. This makes the stranded wire more smoothly when wiring through narrow pipes, trunking, etc., and is not easy to damage the insulation layer or jam due to friction, which is convenient for installation and subsequent maintenance.
Electrical insulation performance: As an insulating material, Teflon provides excellent electrical insulation properties, which can effectively prevent current leakage and ensure the safe operation of the electrical system. Even in harsh electrical environments such as high humidity and high voltage, it can maintain good insulation.
Mechanical properties: Although the Teflon material is relatively soft, the Teflon plastic stranded wire still has a certain mechanical strength as a whole, and can withstand a certain degree of external force such as stretching and bending without being easily damaged. Fields of application
Aerospace field: In aircraft, satellites and other aerospace equipment, due to its extremely high requirements for material properties, not only to withstand extreme temperature changes, but also to have anti-corrosion and other characteristics, Teflon plastic stranded wire is widely used in the wiring of various electrical systems, such as flight control systems, communication systems, etc.
Chemical industry: The chemical production environment is often filled with various corrosive chemicals, and ordinary wires are difficult to meet the requirements. Teflon stranded wire can be used for electrical connections in and around chemical equipment due to its excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring the normal operation of electrical circuits in harsh chemical environments.
Medical equipment: In some high-precision medical equipment, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment, medical electronic instruments, etc., wires need to be able to work stably in a relatively closed environment where there may be certain temperature changes, and to meet the strict requirements of medical equipment for material safety.
